The blog you are currently reading is a fragment of the twisted mind of a crazed book, food, music, movie and TV enthusiast. If you find your self wondering who this person is, well don't think about it that much. He lives a life that is utterly ordinary, outstandingly boring and endearingly plain. Follow him as he travels through his passions (the ones mentioned above) and be open-minded about his grammar choices.
With all the irony and kidding aside, I really do hope that you enjoy what I offer in this blog. I am neither a professional nor an outstanding writer so please bear with my writing style.
About The Blogger
Let me just say that I am an avid reader. Ask some of my friends and they would collectively roll their eyes and say something like, "That's the only thing he wants to talk about" or "Kevin is obsessed with books". I respect and testify to that. So for the sake of my friends [and their eardrums] I am going to post a lot of topics revolving the novels I've read here, on my new blog. Some of you might find my reading list quite mainstream [and I don't really care]. If you have a problem with that you are always welcome to leave [but don't be rude about it].
So my passion for books started when I was in the Preparatory Grade [for those who is not in the know the Philippine School System is very different compared to the American and British System] when a group of nuns [I studied in a Catholic School] visited us in our class and started selling these religious children's book and I thought to myself "Gotta have one of those". Boom! That was my first ever self-purchased book (Now that I am writing this I can't seem to remember where that book went). Anyways from there on I started delving deeper into the reading habit, evolving as time passes by.
I am really into Young Adult fiction specifically the Occult and Supernatural genres! I love stories about witches, magic and kids with supernatural abilities! I do read some contemporary fiction, mystery novels and even chick lit (don't judge me!).
Etymology:Tome (noun): a book, esp. a large, heavy, scholarly oneBound (adjective): destined or likely to have a specified experience.
Tomebound's purest intention is to be an avenue wherein I share my passion for books!
This blog is also a hodge-podge of all the things that I am interested in. Talking about novels is the basic foundation of my blog however posts about travelling, music, movies, TV shows and food will also litter these virtual pages.
It is a LITERATURE BLOG + LIFESTYLE JOURNAL. A lot of people might deemed this as ambitious however I know that we have to take risks to reap greater rewards.
So click on HOME and discover what I am here to offer. If you want to delve into my recommended reads and my thoughts about them click on BOOK REVIEWS.
I sincerely hope you guys enjoy this blog! Please do comment and tell me what you think.
